StageScreen Classes are exciting, innovative, fun and creative courses and workshops for kids, teenagers and adults designed and run by award winning theatre/film director Conor Armstrong Sanfey. These courses are designed to offer unique opportunities for students of all ages.
Students can start at any age and any experience level. Many students start with Conor as children and work their way up to Diploma level. These diploma courses offer world-wide recognised qualifications.

Frequently Asked Questions
1. What age are the courses suitable for?
Our kids and teen course 'StageScreen 50/50' is suitable for all ages from seven years old upwards. Our adult courses are for all ages eighteen and above.
2. How many terms are there in the academic year?
For our year-long courses they're three terms over the academic year. October to December, January to March and March to end of May. We also have a summer term for those who wish to continue throughout the summer.
3. Can you start in any term?
Yes you can join in any term although it most beneficial to start in the October term now to miss anything.
4. Do students take part in productions?
Yes all students take part in our two annual showcases (February and May) in the Sean O'Casey Theatre and our annual film festival in March.
5. What makes StageScreen unique?
All acting courses include both acting for stage and screen for the well rounded experience. Conor believes very strongly in diversifying if going into the arts and wishes to prepare students for this by offering a unique and wide curriculum. All students get a chance to do some writing and directing, camera and sound in addition to acting on stage and camera.
6. Do you offer trial classes?
We strongly believe that (given our wide curriculum) one class is not enough to get a measure on the course, so we do not offer trial classes at the moment. We believe it takes time to settle in to a new class, to make friends, and to gain confidence. We pride ourselves on the fact we have never had a student drop out after less than two terms.
