Directing For Stage and Screen

 Currently Enrolling

A truly unique course that is limited to only two participants.

Students will gain a thorough understanding of directing for both stage and screen. Subjects include: working with actors, the role of a director in theatre and on set, crew roles and relationships and getting started in the industry. The course is mostly practical, and students get hands on experience directing scenes for both theatre and film. Feedback and guidance is provided throughout. Guidance on getting started as a director is also given. Students will each direct a number of scenes throughout the course, and will have a showreel scene professionally filmed on completion of the course. Students will also direct a live theatre piece in a city centre theatre.
